- Security Lab – general purpose facility consisting of a dozen machines for the explicit use of Security Assurance in Information Technology students.
- Network Attack / Defense Lab – investigates techniques for protecting a system, detecting intrusion, controlling damage, and catching the perpetrators. The laboratory can be exposed to the Internet, outside the university’s campus network and firewalls.
- Virus and Worm Lab – geared toward research and education such dangers as the ILOVEYOU virus and related to its variants. This laboratory is isolated from the Internet and other campus networks and has controlled physical access.
- Cryptography Lab – includes equipment for experimentation with decryption techniques including optical and audio equipment for the study of information hiding techniques.
