Stop.Think.Connect. Campaign

• Stop.Think.Connect. is a national public awareness campaign aimed at increasing the understanding of cyber threats and empowering the American public to be safer and more secure online. Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility. We each have to do our part to keep the Internet safe. When we all take simple steps to be safer online, it makes using the Internet a more secure experience for everyone.
• Academic Alliance Members. As new ground is forged and the benefits of a digitally connected world are enhanced, academia has an opportunity to lead by example in ensuring the online practices of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community are as secure as possible.

FSU’s Information Technology Services (ITS)

Provides technology support to students, faculty & staff and protects FSU’s data and IT resources.

• Information Security Policies: Strengthens data security and privacy requirements and establish best practices for the security of data and IT resources.
• Training & Outreach: Essential for security and privacy education, along with awareness programs.
• Risk Management: Assesses cyber threats, vulnerabilities and possible impacts in order to determine the best and most cost effective mitigations.
• Operations and Incident Management: Employs key strategies (based on prevent, detect and contain) to combat cyberattacks.
