Workshop Focus

This half day workshop aims at providing a forum for the discussion of security and assurance issues related to ad hoc networks as components of the Internet. Characteristics of ad hoc networks make them particularly complex to protect and mechanisms designed for networks in general, or even those designed for wireless networks with fixed components are not well suited to the ad hoc environment. This workshop addresses the issues and solutions for security and assurance that are specific and unique to ad hoc networks.
