Workshop on Security and Assurance in Ad hoc Networks |
Held in conjunction with |
The Workshop |
The Internet is becoming the engine and platform of choice for a diverse range
of wireless and mobile applications. Driven by market demands, the Internet is
required to be ubiquitous and pervasive; accessible and usable from any device
and through any network, including wireless and mobile. This half day workshop
aims at providing a forum for the discussion of security and assurance issues
related to ad hoc networks as components of the Internet.
Papers |
Technical papers describing original research are solicited. The workshop
focuses on emerging Internet and Intranet applications that inter-operate in a
wireless, unstructured communication environment. Areas of particular interest
include, but are not limited to:
· Security and fault tolerent issues in ad hoc networks
· Secure routing in ad hoc networks
· Applications of mobile agents and autonomous intelligent systems
· Tradeoffs between efficiency and security in ad hoc networks
· Bounds on efficiency in ad hoc networks
· Security protocols for group applications in ad hoc networks
· Self configuration in ad hoc networks
· Location discovery and management
· Timing and synchronization in ad hoc networks
· Secure, distributed algorithms for ad hoc networks
Please consult the Workshop Chairs Alec Yasinsac (yasinsac@cs.fsu.edu) or Mike Burmester (burmester@cs.fsu.edu) if you are uncertain whether your paper falls within the scope of the workshop.
