Miami is the city for all seasons with a pleasant and warm climate year round. January traditionally ranks as the coolest month with temperatures as low as 66°F. Afternoon highs in January climb to an average of 76°F. In sharp contrast, June through September can get quite hot; a condition that is complicated by high humidity. Sea breezes along the coast and clockworklike daily thunder showers can cool off Florida cities to temperatures more bearable than some northern cities in summer. Average daily temperatures range from 86°F to 91°F. At night temperatures cool off to between 70°F and 80°F.
Although the temperature in January is quite pleasant, evenings and nights can get cold. Delegates are advised to bring some warm clothing (sweaters, etc).
